Classes For All Ages & Skill Levels

Our Aerial Silks program offers a unique and exciting way to build strength, flexibility, and coordination through the art of aerial performance. Participants will learn to climb, twist, and hold poses on the silks while developing upper body strength, core stability, and body awareness. This class is perfect for individuals looking to challenge themselves in a fun and creative environment, whether they’re new to aerial arts or experienced performers. As athletes progress, they’ll work on more advanced techniques, culminating in beautiful, graceful aerial routines. Join us for an inspiring and empowering experience in the air!

Silks Class Options

Required Skills: None.

This beginner class focuses on building foundational skills and gaining comfort with the silks. Athletes will learn basic climbs, holds, and poses while developing strength, flexibility, and body awareness. You will work on mastering grips, footlocks, and core control, with an introduction to basic aerial movements. This class prepares you for the more advanced techniques required in higher levels. No prior experience is needed—just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to learn!

Required Skills: “Pen Hold (wrist wrap), Climb to stand (knot), Pike to sit (drop), Single Foot lock, Climb to top, knot hip key and strong arm, square arm and straight arm hang in silks, Double Foot Lock Even.

In Level 2, you’ll build on the fundamentals learned in Level 1 and begin mastering more complex skills. You’ll focus on learning the single footlock on both sides, the straddle on knot, and the climb to stand. This class also introduces the pencil (wrist wrap) to enhance your control and fluidity in the air. These skills are foundational for the more intricate drops and climbs you’ll explore in future levels. As you progress, you’ll continue to improve your strength, flexibility, and aerial technique.

Required Skills: Crochet (wrist wrap), Side Mount (knot), Pull up to sit (drop), Double Foot Lock (X back entry), A-ok Cross back (split), Foot brake (climb/ descent) and Hip key wraps.

Level 3 takes your aerial silks practice to the next level by introducing more dynamic and advanced movements. You will perfect the split roll-up on both sides, explore the diaper drop, and work on mastering the dancer pose on both sides. Additionally, you’ll learn the Russian climb, building strength and stability for more complex aerial maneuvers. These skills are essential for progressing into even more challenging aerial silks techniques as you continue to develop your aerial artistry.

Required Skills: Skin the Cat (wrist wrap), Pull-Over Mount (knot), Slack Drop, Flamenco Grip (single foot lock), Aerial Foot Locks (double foot lock), Thigh Hitch (side), Inversion Climbs (same side/ opposite side), Hip Key (standing)

In this level, you’ll refine your technique and begin to learn intricate, higher-level moves. You’ll work on mastering the eggbeater and butterfly, both of which require strength and precision. The climb scorpion will challenge your flexibility and body control, while the complex loop split introduces a higher level of aerial positioning and fluidity. These skills are key to progressing to the final levels and refining your ability to execute breathtaking aerial performances.

 

Required Skills: Iron Cross (aerial wrist wrap), Aerial Knot, Star Pose (drop), Eggbeater Wraps/ Ankle Hangs (single foot lock and double foot lock), Back Balance (side), Hip Key Climb and Hip Key (aerial).

Level 5 introduces advanced drops and climbs that require power, precision, and excellent body awareness. You’ll learn the grape drop, which challenges your aerial control and fluidity, and the straddle up x2, demanding strength and coordination. The single star and split fabric knee climb build on your ability to execute complex moves with grace and style. Mastering these skills will prepare you for the most intricate and high-level silks techniques.

No Requirements

This class is designed for all aspiring acrobatics/contortionists. Our curriculum is a rotating schedule focusing on partner acro poses, contortion skills, acro tumbling tricks, and a variety of poses on the hammocks, silks, and lyra moon.
